Oracle of the Cailleach
As Given Through Morgana, Her Priestess
I am the Cailleach, the Ancient Veiled One, She who emerges from the Stone, the craggy cliffs
and fierce beauty of the Scottish Highlands. I am attended by Nine dark robed priestesses, who have been known
to wear the antlers of the Deer, live on islands and mountain tops. The Deer, called "The Cattle of the Cailleach,"
follow My ancient trackways where the magnetic currents wax and wane, where Stone Circles stand
even unto this day. My countenance is flinty and thistle sharp, My tartan is the blue-white snow under the moonlit,
long and dark winter nights. Many fear Me for I am associated with the cold North Winds that cleanse the land. My
great third eye of psychic perception, the Eye of the White Owl, shines brightly through
My Blue Veil. Yet, I invite you to come within, to the warm hearth-fire of your own soul. There, in the depths
of the spiraling whirlpool of my Cauldron you are invited to experience the Mysteries, the deepest blueprints of
all Existence. There you will see the cycles, patterns and levels of the ALL. And you will know the symbols of My
Deep Wisdom.
My Apron of Stones holds the history of the Earth, for
My rocky cliffs are the recorders of Time itself, of all that has been. My Stone Circles hold the energies of the
Spiraling Cosmos, the Moon as New, Full and Old. My heather grows in abandoned and isolated places where the everyday
world falls away and where the Wise Ones seek My Wisdom. My Cauldron contains the Vortex, the whirlpool that spins
you down to sacred transformation, for to know My Mysteries is to be transformed. As you emerge from those depths,
bringing up Memory of the Deep Mysteries, you will find My countenance has transformed as well. I will have
evolved from Frosty Crone, to the Ancient Grandmother, the Giver of Understanding the Unknowable,
Giver of Deep Perceptions that defy words and logic. My Mysteries cannot be told, they can only be experienced.
When days are dark, when storms threaten, and the future glacial, I am there, within the Stone Circle, My face emerging from the Rock, ready to welcome
you to the warm waters of the Cauldron, to transform your vision, to enable you to see with your own third eye, and then
send you forth again with the words, "Be you at peace, for you have seen My Veiled Mysteries of the Hidden Depths, the
Mysterious and
Sacred DEEP Itself. About Morgana: Morgana is a Hierophant in the College of Isis, and founder of Lyceum of the Goddess Morgan and
the Ninefold Sisterhood of the Celtic Cauldron; an ArchDruidess in the Druid Clan of Dana, and founder of Grove
of the Celtic Cauldron. She works as a Celtic Shamaness. She is also registered as a Priestess in the Temple of Isis, Geyserville.
